From the Author

This book is about Farmington, Utah, the Davis County seat, and is dedicated to the community where I grew up. I have kept a daily diary throughout my life, recording facts and writing histories of our pioneers and our town. Much time has been devoted to gathering pictures and old diaries, histories and autobiographies and letters that have been written by original courageous pioneers. This has been a real task, with years of unceasing labor dedicated to writing and researching, and I sincerely hope that none have been overlooked. I am happy to share these memories with you.
